So last season was a very difficult one for me personally and unfortunately United didn't exactly provide a nice welcome distraction it is fair to say.
Nigel Clough had lots of qualities but like many people in football he held the ability to delight and frustrate in equal measure. As Robbie Savage et al descended to twitter to criticise the decision to remove the manager many blades, myself included, issued a massive sigh of relief.
I don't think my hairline and heart have been the same since the somewhat comical performance in the away leg at Swindon. Such was my frustration and disillusionment that I didn't even make the trip. I cannot wait for a few months off I quipped.
Predictably now I am refreshing twitter, reading forums and tutting at the opinions of others. So I am back to hopefully provide an insightful alternative look at what is going on at S2 4SU.
So come on United, frustrate and delight me, I beg you.
